A durable shoe with a lot of technical capabilities

Robusta® Horus shoes

Robusta® is a new supplier as part of the Vandeputte – Safety Experts offering. The Spanish brand has specialised in the development and production of technical footwear since 2001.

Their close and long-standing association with both national and local police forces in Spain gives them a reliable picture of police officers’ working conditions. The upshot is the Robusta® Horus collection, which complies with the technical needs and requirements of the officers on the ground and is also comfortable to wear, including in Mediterranean climes.

The icing on the cake? Every single pair of Horus boots is sustainably manufactured.

The Horus series: the technical all-rounder

A lighter and more comfortable boot, designed to be used in a broad range of operating environments. The Horus is a durable boot that offers good grip and excellent heat and tear resistance.

  • Very light work boot (O2)
  • Offers efficient insulation from cold and heat (CI & HI)
  • Nitrile vibram soling (HRO)
  • ANVIP GRIP outsole: large contact surface with oil drainage grooves for enhanced grip and maximum safety
  • Shaft: available in Gore-tex (WR)
  • Reinforced heel and toecap in recycled material
  • Available in sizes 36 through 48
  • Available in 3 heights (3.0 - 6.0 - 8.0)

Sustainability

Robusta® attaches great importance to sustainability in everything it undertakes. Their eco-design project is all about creating a sustainable business model across the entire production cycle. This not only encompasses the use of sustainable materials, but also seeks to ensure the sustainable production, storage and transport of the product.

Which explains why the organisation has been awarded various sustainability certificates:

  • Eco-Management & Audit Scheme (EMAS) certificate
  • Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification (ICEA)
