Vandeputte Safety is looking for an Inside Sales Expert for our office in Boechout.
 

What we expect from you

As an Inside Sales Expert, you will be the key point of contact for customers, where your proactive and customer-oriented approach make all the difference. In this commercial internal sales role, you will make sure that customers receive timely and accurate information about our products and services. You will prepare quotations, respond to customer queries, process complex orders, and handle complaints efficiently. In addition, you will gather valuable customer feedback, discuss it in team meetings, and work towards solutions to optimise our service.

You will work closely with an account manager on a defined customer portfolio, and will, together with the latter, be responsible for attaining or exceeding the sales targets set. You will focus on building strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers. Identifying commercial opportunities are a source of energy for you! You will seek actively opportunities for upselling and cross-selling and initiate new safety solutions for customers, to which end you will work closely with other departments in the organisation to ensure an optimal customer experience.

What you bring to the table
 

• As an Inside Sales Expert you have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial internal department.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• You have professional proficiency in Dutch.
• You are customer-oriented, understand customer expectations and needs, think along with customers, and provide the best possible solutions.
• You are result-oriented and take such actions as necessary to attain the goals set.
• You are a team player, engage in discussions, ask for and offer help to attain the team goals.
• You are stress-resilient and continue to function efficiently under pressure, when faced with setbacks or in difficult situations.
• You are open to change and can adapt your working method smoothly when processes and systems are updated.
• You take initiative to tackle issues, make proposals or optimise the existing ways of working.
• You are proficient in using systems and have experience in SAP or another ERP system.
• You are skilled in Excel and familiar with applications such as V-look up and with creating pivot tables.
