Your mission

As a Supply Chain Planner at Vandeputte Safety, you will be the driving force behind the optimal management and improvement of our inventory and purchasing processes. You will make sure that our products are always available to meet customer demand while enhancing our operational efficiency.

Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Optimal inventory management
    You will lead the ordering process with strategic suppliers and ensure timely deliveries. Through your meticulous approach, you will guarantee smooth deliveries and minimise disruptions in the purchasing and delivery process.
     
  • Supplier management
    You will evaluate and optimise the collaboration with our suppliers based on agreed KPIs. Through your thorough supplier management, you will ensure that they consistently meet our high-quality standards.
     
  • Analysis and forecasting
    You will transform demand and supply data into accurate forecasts to ensure we always have sufficient stock without excess. Your analyses will ensure that purchasing and inventory management are fully in line with the needs of our customers.
     
  • Process optimisation
    With your in-depth understanding of business processes, you will identify proactively bottlenecks and risks in the supply chain, both internally and externally. You will develop and implement improvements for inventory management, forecasting, and order tracking, thereby contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our organisation.


What you bring to the table

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field, or equivalent working and thinking level.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in purchasing or logistics; experience with inventory management would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • A problem-solving and proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
