A new headband design helps to make transition between rail mounted systems and headband easier. It can also help to improve comfort when worn under a ballistic helmet. Natual Interaction Behavoiur (NIB), helps to improve close range face-to-face communication in steady state noise environments.
Utilizing near field magnetic induction, the 3M™ PELTOR™ System Control Unit helps to improve cable management through cord-free connection to the 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VII Headset, and 3M™ PELTOR™ Tactical Earplugs, TEP-300. There is also a port for an optional wired connection to the 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VII Headset.
