Sioen is taking its multinorm workwear to the next level with the launch of its new UP range. This range upgrades best-selling models from the existing range, and combines improved fabrics, and a revamped fit with a contemporary look.
Sioen launches the UP range, a completely redesigned multinorm workwear line that builds on the best-selling models from the existing range. The range includes not only work jackets and work trousers, but now also includes bib & brace work trousers and coveralls.
This range is defined by three key features: improved fabrics, a revamped fit, and a contemporary look.

1. Improved fabrics
The UP collection introduces an updated fabric composition within the Sio-Safe range, specially developed by Sioen to provide superior multinorm protection. The fabrics are grouped into two categories: treated and inherently flame retardant fabrics.

Important difference: The Essential fabrics require re-treatment over time, while Extra fabrics are permanently flame-retardant due to their inherent properties.
All fabrics are industrial-washable, and meet the strictest multinorm standards.
2. Updated fit
The new UP models were completely redesigned for optimal comfort and mobility. In addition, work jackets and trousers with a tailored fit have been introduced, specially designed for female professionals.
Key improvements include:
- Narrower sleeves, waist and trouser legs
- Shorter back for enhanced comfort
- Knee pockets with two adjustable positions—no need to remove the trousers
- Extended size range:
- Men's models: XS - 4XL
- Women's models: XS - 2XL
- Trouser lengths available in three variants: short (76 cm), standard (81 cm) and long (86 cm)
3. Contemporary look
The UP range combines functional protection with contemporary design.
- Essential line: a contemporary design with bold contrasting patches
- Extra-line: subtle, fashionable accents
- New reflective detailing and standards for enhanced visibility:
- EN 17353 - Improved visibility
- EN ISO 20471 - High visibility

Overview of UP models
The revamped UP range includes a selection of jackets and trousers crafted from different fabric types:
- Treated fabrics (Sio-Safe Essential): including HAUMEA, OREL, RODARI, SEDNA, SOYUZ
- Inherent fabrics (Sio-Safe Extra): including PICTOR, ATIRAS, MERAK, MIZAR
Coats made from treated fabrics feature snap buttons, while coats made from inherent fabrics have snap buttons and a plastic zip.
